We are from San Diego, and stayed at Cliff Castle casino for its location to Sedona, Grand Canyon and Flaggstaff during Thanksgiving 2020 weekend. The price was perfect, amenities were fun with a casino and bowling alley, bar, night club and kids play area and arcades, food at several restaurants were good and not expensive, indoor pool. Cliff Castle Casino is an older, relatively small casino with a very nice, non smoking area within the casino. Many of the machines are older with a few new machines. For kids, they have a relatively large bowling alley and a few restaurants. We had lunch at the Johnny Rockets. With a stay at Cliff Castle Casino Hotel in Camp Verde, just steps from Kids Quest and Cliff Castle Casino. This casino hotel is 2.6 mi (4.1 km) from Montezuma Castle National Monument and 3.7 mi (6 km) from Fort Verde Park State Historic Park.
At Cliff Castle Casino Hotel guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub.
A business center and vending machines with drinks are available on site at the hotel.
Montezuma Castle National Monument is 2.6 mi from Cliff Castle Casino Hotel, while Montezuma Well National Monument is 3.1 mi from the property. The nearest airport is Ernest A Love Field Airport, 32 mi from the accommodations. Initial poker payment.

Spoke with management about overnighting for one night, and apparently, the requirement is that one must first acquire a card that shows that you’ve gambled away at least ? bucks in order to park. However, once you do, you’re free to park on a somewhat occasional basis. I think you must display this card in your window. Not sure, never got one. ??? Your call.. Shane would not stay here again.

Stayed here May 2019. Nice big lot, asked permission to park n the lot. It’s below the casino. Security patrols. Nice overnight.
